The fourth defendant of the case of the murder of Boris Nemtsov - Shadid Gubashevu, the Basmanny Court of Moscow extended the arrest until August 28 .

Earlier on Thursday, at the same time, the arrest was extended to the main accused - Zaur Dadaev .

Then it became known that he is ready to officially abandon his confession as data under pressure. “The petition has already been submitted, but not considered,” his lawyer Said Mumaev said.

Speaking before this in court, Dadaev again stated that he was detained in Ingushetia not 7, but on March 5 and was tortured for two days. According to him, he was abducted by armed people who, without explaining anything, put a bag on his head and took him away. “I was kidnapped on March 5, held in an unknown place, beaten, and only on March 7 they issued a protocol on the detention. They made a confession,” Dadaev said in court.

On April 22, the court shed the deadline for the arrest of two other defendants in the case - Khamzat Bakhaev and Anzor Gubashev.

On April 24, the issue of the fifth accused, Tamerlana Eskerkhanov, will be considered.

The investigation period was extended until August 28.

The Russian opposition believes that Boris Nemtsov’s motion was an official request for a policy indicating the fact of participation in the hostilities in the Donbass of Chechen militants and the role of Ramzan Kadyrov in this war.
