Dadin's house arrest was extended until June 27

Judge of the Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow Alexei Kaveshnikov extended to civil activist Ildar Dadin for two months - until June 27. This was announced on Twitter by a friend of the activist, journalist Anastasia Zotova. The investigator of the Zamoskvoretsky interdistent of the TFR, the leading Dadin case, made the petition for the extension of house arrest.

In support of his petition, the investigator, among other things, presented a certain characteristic issued to the accused. It said that the activist "participated in the riots on the side of the" Right Sector "(probably the participation of Dadin in the Kiev Euromaidan) and was once detained in a t -shirt with the image of Taras Bulba.

The lawyer of the activist Ksenia Kostromin, after the announcement of the characteristics, expressed bewilderment, noting that the “right sector” and Dadin’s trip to Ukraine are not related to the issue under consideration. Kostromina also noticed that if the accused intended to hide, he would have done this after the trial on February 3, when he went home without a convoy after a decision on house arrest.

Dadin more than anyone is interested in the upcoming trial, because he does not consider himself guilty and intends to prove his innocence, the lawyer emphasized.

In the event that Kaveshnikov decides to extend the arrest, Kostromina asked him to at least allow the activist daily walks of 1 hour. Dadin himself, speaking at the meeting, complained that due to deprivation of walks he had developed shortness of breath and pain in his legs.

Nevertheless, the Kaweshnikov did not allow the activist for a walk.

The case was initiated against Dadin under Article 212.1 of the Criminal Code (repeated violation of the legislation on rallies). Four violations at rallies for six months have been imputed. The activist faces up to 5 years in the colony.

On January 30, Dadina was detained and sent to the IVS, but on February 3, the Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow, Alexei Kaveshnikov, sent the activist under house arrest. Later, the arrest of the accused was extended .

On February 25, the police came to Zotova at the place of registration . According to the relatives of the journalist, the security forces intended to give her a certain agenda. As far as is known, the story did not receive the sequel.

The Memorial human rights center regarded the persecution of Dadin, as well as the other two activists involved under Article 212.1 of the Criminal Code, - Vladimir Ionov and Mark Galperin, as illegal and politically motivated .
