Big Moskvoretsky Bridge, Moscow, April 20, 2015
On the Moskvoretsky Bridge that has been a quiet confrontation for a week. On the sidewalk, at the fence, there are flowers. They are carried away-either the communal workers in the orange overalls, then activists with orange-black ribbons, then nameless people in gray. Flowers appear again. They are carried away again, and the next morning they lie again. Once the slogan “We will go out and do not leave,” the participants in those rallies did not keep their promise; Now it is held by flowers. Affordable, intelligent form of protest - even if you have too much deeds and not courage enough, you can always put flowers. They can be removed - but they will not leave.
This memorial is located right by the walls of the Kremlin, under the cameras of the FSO - and it is, of course, not the same, in the public place they divorced unsanitary conditions: these constantly emerging flowers cut the eyes to those who once came up with that it is much more convenient to rule over the country if it is divided. Those who struggled with blasphemous dancing and insulting tweets, arranged prayer standing and anti -Maidan marches, ordered columns about liberal fascism, painted posters about the fifth column, mobilizing the obedient majority, setting it on a large minority. This is a reminder of how such effective political technologies end: blood that no one wanted, by death, from which everyone is worse, with flowers that will not go anywhere.
You came up with an internal enemy who allegedly is going to ruin the country for American cookies and which must be suppressed, frightened, driven under the skirting board - and real bullets flew from a completely different side, and the threat of decay is not hiding where they were looking for it.
The investigation of the murder of Nemtsov was at a dead end: investigators cannot interrogate Ruslan Geremeyev, whose name appears in the testimony of the detainees; A request to the FSB Office for Chechnya demanding to ensure Geremeyev’s turnout remains unanswered, Geremeyev himself is either under guard in the family village of Julka, or already in Abu Dhabi. Ramzan Kadyrov orders the Chechen security forces to shoot without warning if security forces from other regions are found in the republic, acting without their knowledge. Chechnya has long been in a special position, there is no issuance from the Terek, and the status that is now trying to fix Kadyrov is justified by the old formula of all dictatorships: his - all, strangers - the law. But Kadyrov is not enough to be his own: you need to be the first among his own - so that the rest turn out to be their second grade. In recent years, the Russian security forces have proved that even an orange at a rally at a rally would not have any mercy - and as a result they were faced with people who promise to shoot the police to defeat. The process of searching and exposing the traitors brought to the surface of power, who are ready to deal with traitors faster and more efficiently, who themselves will decide who is the traitor and who is not, who do not want to obey anyone and are not going to share with anyone - including those and those who dealt with the traitors before. Probably, the ruling class had reason to look at Nemtsov, who lobbied for the adoption of the Magnitsky list and generally delivered a lot of trouble - but with what feeling these people now look at the videos with Kadyrov, who continues to call Nemtsov the enemy and the traitor even after death? It should be a strange feeling.
However, the FSB struggle with Kadyrov is something like intraspecific competition, the intensity of the fight against an internal enemy may change from its outcome, but not its vector. It is worse that the law works at a higher civilizational level: the more strength is spent on fighting an imaginary threat, the worse and more unexpected the real. You fight the enemies of the people who are going to blow up fictional plants on a fictional order of English intelligence - and you do not notice the Nazi divisions that are near your border. You tell on television about unfortunate children wise by Bandera punisors - and the Islamic State units are already approaching the borders, which actually do not stop in front of children's executions. You denounce a geyropo that has forgotten about moral principles - and encounter forces that are ready to literally burn people alive with other ideas about morality.
Those people who bring flowers to the Moskvoretsky bridge today are generally defenseless before any of these threats. On the side of Nemtsov there was energy, mind and love of life - but the bullet is stronger. And the flowers have no reception even in front of the communal services in the orange overalls; True, in the end, flowers still win - but how many more there are to remove them.
