Wilson's corporate sign is graphic, carefully painted silhouettes of actors (each movement is calculated with ballet accuracy) against the background of the screen, which constantly changes its color-from pale blue to menacingly glow. The role of the narrator will be played by Evgeny Mironov, who, being the artistic director of the Theater of Nations, is probably already preparing to beat off the attacks of self -proclaimed censors, who imagined themselves to be direct executives of Alexander Sergeyevich.

In just a few years, the Platonovsky Festival of Arts in Voronezh managed to become a member of the most famous festivals of Moscow and St. Petersburg. The program has not only the theater, but also musical, exhibition, literary events. This year, the main hit promises to be the wordless performance of the Frenchman Philip Zhanti “Do not forget me”, whose genre is not easy to determine (not a drama, not a dance, not a circus, not a puppet theater). Several stiff Norwegians will enter the stage in black tuxedos and pots, surrounded by angel -like girls in white. Who is a living person in this stage cycle, and who is a doll, you will not immediately realize.
Leo Dodin will come to Voronezh with the play by Ibsen “The enemy of the people”, and Yuri Butusov with the bright show “Kabaret Brecht”. Despite the difficulties with the intersection of the Russian border, the arrival of the Marjanishvili Theater (“Notes of the Madman” Gogol and Riga Russian Drama (“Fro” Andrei Platonov) is also expected.

One of the most interesting exhibitions of this year is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the classic of non-conformism Vladimir Nemukhin. The second part of the exhibition was given to the work of Lydia Masterkova, who was a friend and Muse of Nemukhina in 1960-1970. Both were the initiators of the famous Buldozer Exhibition of 1974, defeated by the authorities. But then their paths parted. Lidia Masterova emigrated to France, and Vladimir Nemukhin remained in the USSR. We were given an amazing opportunity to meet two artists after many years in one exhibition space.

Exhibition of works by French artist Henri Russo for Italy Extraordinarna. It was possible to collect 40 of the 100 well -known works of Rousseau and 60 paintings by artists of his era - Gauguin, Picasso, Cezanne, Kandinsky and others. The “customs” of Russo (he worked as a modest employee at customs - hence his nickname) for a long time by contemporaries was not perceived by the artist. The audience laughed at his portraits, mocked, saying that even the child was able to draw like that. But artists greatly appreciated the work of Henri Russo. For example, Picasso did not part with the “Portrait of a Woman (Jadwig)”, which acquired even before meeting the author for 5 francs - at the price of canvas. The canvas was brought to Italy from the Picasso Museum. A “bird yard” came from the Pompidu center to Venice. Vasily Kandinsky once bought it and put it in Munich in 1911 after the death of Russo.

The cult American artist Jean-Michel Baskia died at 27. Today, the price of the price of his work is $ 48.8 million. The future artist in Brooklyn was born, his mother from Puerto Rico, his father originally from Haiti. Like many teenagers of his time, he was engaged in graffiti and decorated many buildings in New York with his drawings. After meeting with Andy Warhol, he began to seriously engage in painting and achieved great success. Throughout his life, Jean-Michelle kept a personal diary-he filled the white sheets with sketches and a game of words, poetic fragments and daily observations. The first major exhibition of these diaries is a cycle of 160 pages of scanned notebooks of the artist.
