Tsup has established a connection with "progress"

The Russian flight management center has established contact with the Progress M-27M cargo spacecraft, launched the day before from the Baikonur cosmodrome, TASS reports.

The Central Department Store clarified that the ship appeared in the zone of operation of Russian communications and the center began to receive telemetry from progress.

The Progress M-27M cargo spacecraft was brought into the intermediate orbit of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket, which started from Baikonur on April 28. The ship that will deliver products, fuel, oxygen, equipment, as well as parcels for astronauts to the ISS, had to moor on the space station about 6 hours after the start. However, then the specialists of the flight management center decided to carry out a rapprochement in a two-day scheme due to the freelance situation.

According to the source in the rocket and space industry, two of the five antennas of the “course” dock system did not open on the ship. Also, according to some reports, due to the incorrect operation of one of the steps of the launch vehicle, the space truck did not reach the calculated orbit, which led to failures in the transmission of telemetry information.
