On the Internet, a project of folk financing of the play “Banchik”, canceled by the Pskov dramatat after denunciation to the Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky, was opened.

At the end of last year, the artistic director of the Pskov Academic Drama Theater. A.S. Pushkin Vasily Senin invited the Moscow director Barbar Faer to write and put a documentary about Pskovichi.

During the preparation of the performance in the Pskov drama theater, the leadership was replaced. A few days before the premiere appointed on April 16, under the pressure of the new administration, the actors of the theater, including half of the actors employed in the “Banner”, signed a letter to Medinsky with a request to pay attention to the performance, which will be used by obscenely vocabulary, show naked women, and “will certainly be a greedy primitive head of the bathhouse and over all this, of course,” there will be “priority of the evil. Soon the theater was visited by the Minister of Culture, as well as the Governor of the Pskov Region Andrei Turchak and his culture adviser Dmitry Meskhiev. After that, the performance was canceled.
