A new criminal case was opened against the former head of the Department of Property Relations of the Ministry of Defense Yevgenia Vasilieva. It is reported by Kommersant. The case was opened by the Main Military Administration of the Investigative Committee of Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud on an especially large scale), which provides for up to 10 years in the colony.
In total, about 30 episodes of fraud with military property. As the newspaper suggests, the accusation of these episodes of Vasilyeva will be brought after the entry into force of the sentence in the first case.
It is known about one of the episodes that will be imputed by the former official. This is the sale of the Leningradskoye agricultural enterprise in the Krasnodar Territory, which had 4800 hectares of sowing areas and 2200 cattle. Until May 2009, "Leningradskoye" had the status of the FSUE of the North Caucasus Military District. Then it was transformed into a joint -stock company and included in the Military Holding "Agroprom". In the future, the enterprise was recognized as a non -core asset and, with the permission of the then head of the Ministry of Defense Anatoly Serdyukov, was sold at a low price.
The investigation estimates the damage in the amount of over 1.2 billion rubles. It is noted that along with Vasilyeva, other defendants in the first case of Oboronservice were involved in the transaction.
Meanwhile, Vasilyeva’s lawyer Khasan-Ali Korokov said that the investigation has been studying these episodes since 2012, and now decided to “recall” them to put pressure on the defendants.
The process in the first case of Vasilyeva, going in the Presnensky district court of Moscow, is nearing completion. On Thursday, replicas of the parties in the debate and performances of the defendants with the last words were appointed.
On April 23, the prosecutor demanded for Vasilyeva 8 years conditionally with a fine of 1 million rubles and deprivation of the Order of Honor. For other defendants in the case, the prosecutor also requested conditional terms: 4 years for Maxim Klastutailo, 5 years with a fine of 600 thousand rubles for Irina Egorova and 6 years with fines of 900 thousand rubles - for Yuri Grekhnev and Larisa Egorina. In addition, the prosecutor asked to jointly recover from the defendants almost 1 billion rubles in civil lawsuits.
A day earlier, Kommersant reported that the Investigative Committee is preparing a new charge against Vasilyeva - in theft in the amount of 16 billion rubles . Whether the matter was meant, the opening of which the publication was now announced, unclear.
