May Day demonstrations were held in Moscow

In Moscow there are promotions dedicated to the Day of Solidarity of Workers. A procession of trade unions took place on Red Square, the correspondent of "faces" reports.

A group of oppositionists with stretching "Russia is Europe!" Could join the general procession. In the hands of the participants were EU flags and Russian with European stars. The surrounding demonstrators told them that Russia itself, and announced the support of Vladimir Putin’s policy. The police did not react to stretching and did not try to prevent the opposition.

Participants in the procession of trade unions went from Vasilievsky descent to the historical museum. According to the organizers, about 140 thousand people took part in the action. The column passed along Red Square for about 40 minutes. The Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin took part in the procession. He was wearing a scarf of the St. George tape.

The Communists went through a procession from Kaluga Square in Bolshaya Yakimanka and Mokhova to Okhotnoy. Several thousand people took part in it. A rally and a concert took place at the monument to Karl Marx. The procession was attended by the leader of the Communist Party of the Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov, his deputy Vladimir Kashin, the head of the Moscow Communists Valery Rashkin.

The action was supported by the movement "in support of the army", the Union of Soviet Officers, the All -Russian female movement "Nadezhda of Russia", the Union of Communist Youth.

Participants in the procession carried posters in support of self -proclaimed LPR and DPR. One of the slogans read: "Novorossia is the shield of Russia." Traditionally, there were many red flags and portraits of Vladimir Lenin and Joseph Stalin.

A rally of the LDPR was held on Pushkinskaya Square. In it, according to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow, about three thousand people took part. The audience was addressed by the party leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky.

Later, a rally of left -wing forces took place on the triumphal square, according to the former swamp prisoner Nikolai Caucasian. It was attended by representatives of the Russian socialist movement, the left socialist movement, as well as LGBT activists. The speeches sounded the requirements of the liberation of political prisoners and the termination of the war in Ukraine. About 250 people took part in the action.
