- Maybe, indeed, the lion's share of the victory of that great - the Russian people, but today, to offend other peoples, and Armenians, and Georgians, and Jews, and Ukrainians, to say that, even the great Russian people could win the victory - this is quite non -so -tactly. It does not seem to me that the Russian people think so that Russia would have won the war on their own. This is unfair and wrong, and most importantly, it is false ... When I received an invitation and went through samples for this role, many letters came to me that it was as a continuation of the film "There are only old people", the second series. And the photograph ( the video uses a photograph-frame from the film "There are only old people."-RS) , which caused them doubt, a plane, a cap, this is, as it were, the stage of that life of that person. My hero really replies that the war and the victory in that war is not one person, more than one army, more than one nationality, war can be won not only by tanks, not only weapons, but also with songs, love, faith and hope. Among the huge number of films that were shot about the war during the years of Soviet power and are being shot today, the film by Leonid Bykov ( director "There are only old people." - RS) is so strong and so important, even Russia is trying to introduce it to its success. Although this is a picture of the film studio Alexander Petrovich Dovzhenko, a picture was shot in Ukraine and Ukraine too, and about the war - in Ukraine, in Ukraine - no matter how you say. Today I am ashamed to hear, and, I think, to veterans of the Ukrainian army, Ukrainians, just veterans, ashamed and insulting that some bureaucrat admitted that only one nation won the war. This is not true. No, this is our victory. There is such a TV presenter "Alone with everyone" Julia Menshova in Moscow on Channel One, I was visiting her. She asked me a question: "We celebrate Victory Day, why will our veterans come out with cloves, and you will come out with poppies?" Excuse me, you have cloves, and we have our own flower, which has the roots of spirituality from Kievan Rus.

- Do you have the feeling that now for Ukraine these are comparable things: that war and the current one?

This is the invasion of imperial ambitions, the Kremlin

- My grandmother, who survived the occupation, survived the war, said: the main thing is that there was no war. I do not think that my peers could imagine that war could come to us precisely from Russian borders. I’m not talking about the Russian people now, because I often go there, I know a lot of smart people, representatives of art, culture that do not support the Kremlin manners. No one expected that the war would begin on this side, because today it is necessary to honestly say that yes, it was just an invasion of the imperial ambitions of the Kremlin, because the whole nation went out of influence. I think that the problems that arose in the Donbass, in my small homeland, arose from the fact that for many years people were interested in coal, metal, everything that could be sold and stealing, and did not care much of spirituality, did not care about the roots. But let us deal with these problems ourselves, the people themselves. My grandmother said: when the family swears, it is better not to get to the neighbors, let them figure it out themselves. I entered Makeevka to Kyiv, did not speak Ukrainian, spoke Russian in the Donbass, no one killed them. Therefore, all this is a fictional myth. I remember what Lenin also said - a prison of peoples, an empire. Unfortunately, with all the good things that were in the former Soviet Union, there was a lot of evil in it.

- You are from Donbass, what a feeling you have, do many people want to Russia there?

- I was before the year before the events, we already had the Maidan, but there was no invasion. By the way, I was recently in Russia, now, unfortunately, I probably will not often go there, but I have not seen a Ukrainian soldier in Russia anywhere. And the Russian soldier stands near Donetsk and I have under Makeevka. My brother, living in Makeevka, is experiencing problems and grief. Donbass is a special article. I lived there, many people spoke there and still speak Russian. But a year ago I was, on May 9, they invited me, like a fellow countryman, a city executive committee, a mummary Cossacks walked and invited to the Democratic Republic of Donbass. When I went to the mayor of the city: "What is it with you?" - "Yes, stop, they are lying a fool, play democracy." And the officials who were supposed to be responsible for order on the streets, the services that were responsible for this received money, the titles of generals, they all said: "Come on, let them play democracy." So they played out. True, they all fled somewhere now, everyone is hiding somewhere. Although it’s a shame when the state, the eldest people, they believe, hides criminals in itself. I think everything was planned in advance and this action was thought out for a long time, starting from the first persons and ending with local leadership in cities.

- You are not afraid that you will have difficulties with work in Russia?

- Work in Russia, recently these were festivals in Blagoveshchensk, in many cities of Russia, interesting creative meetings, Russian television channels. I represented not only myself, but I represented Ukraine, and the cinema of Ukraine, and the cinema of Russia, in which I starred - “Rus Primary”, “Ivan Fedorov”, “Black Square”, and other paintings. And today, after our such conversation with your radio station, there may be some prohibition. I didn’t go, they invited Victory Day to St. Petersburg, I had to go to Malakhov to the program about the picture “There are only the old people”, she was in demand on all television channels today. Consciously did not go, so as not to add oil into the fire neither by ours nor them. There is no one opinion even about the movie. You see, now they even share a movie that it is Russian cinema, no, this is our movie, this is a movie about victory, about the people.

- You went to the hospital, where the widow of a Ukrainian soldier who died in the east of the country gave birth.

- Already gave birth, they have already been discharged with the child. An amazing girl, amazing. There were a lot of people, there were many friends, there were warriors of the units where this soldier, defender of the Motherland, Ukraine served, because it is, indeed, our homeland, and let us have it. The birth of such children at this time is another confirmation that the people are alive and the people will live, and no one will win such a people who continue to give birth today. Yes, there will be no father, but she will have a homeland, she will have a mother, and we will be the people who were there yesterday, with Irina, a famous singer, People's Artist of Ukraine. An amazing person, romances sings along Tsvetaeva, Akhmatova, Pasternaku. Culture is not the Kremlin, it is a Vrubel, it is Rublev, it is Mayakovsky, this is Lesya Ukrainian, Franco, Simonenko - this is a culture.

- Now for Ukraine, war in the East is a folk war?

-Today, maybe it is strange for someone that life is in Kyiv, people laugh, get married, and there is a trouble, there people hide in bomb shelters, hide in the basement. But [we must judge] by how all Ukraine collects [funds for war], despite the fact that, indeed, it is difficult with the economy today, it is difficult with production, this war was brought a lot, but once it was necessary to rake this dirt, once these stables had to be cleaned. The people today, perhaps, straining all their forces, gathering on the ATO, to this war. Unfortunately, it so happened that for many years the first persons of the country, not without help, probably, propaganda from Russia, destroyed the army and power structures. Today all this has to be done again. It is clear that there are many shortcomings, but who does not go, he does not stumble. The money goes from our businessmen, and our people help. I often visit hospitals, in orphanages, in refugee houses from Donbass. So each of us is doing work today so that this war is not. When a representative of another army is fighting on your land - this is a war, our land must be protected. There are such verses ( Nikolai Rybalko. - RS) :
