Alexey Sutuga will be kept in solitary confinement for a year

Anti-fascist Aleksey Sutuga, who was recently recognized by the Memorial Human Rights Center as a political prisoner, was sentenced to a year of solitary confinement in the “single cell-type room” of the colony where he is serving his term, Open Russia reports. A year in solitary confinement was appointed for a number of violations - such as an unbuttoned collar or a sharpener found on him (the anti-fascist claims that the sharpener was planted during the inspection). Sutuga's defense intends to appeal against the penalties imposed on him.
