"Progress" burned over the Pacific Ocean

The progress cargo spacecraft, which was lost a few days ago, entered the dense layers of the atmosphere and burned over the Pacific Ocean on the morning of May 8. This was reported by the press service of Roscosmos.

TGK Progress M-27M ceased to exist at 05.04 Moscow time on May 8, 2015. The entrance to the dense layers of the atmosphere occurred 160 round above the central part of the Pacific Ocean, ”the official’s official report said.

The Roscosmos noted that the results of the investigation of the causes of the incident would be announced no later than May 13.

The launch of the “M-27M progress” from the Baikonur cosmodrome occurred on the morning of April 28. After the separation from the carrier, the truck entered an unprofitable orbit. All attempts to establish a connection with him were unsuccessful.
