
Russian Railways President Vladimir Yakunin at the company’s selector meeting said that his monthly salary is 4 million rubles, RIA Novosti told RIA Novosti close to the company.
The press secretary of the Russian Railways President Grigory Levchenko told the agency that the president of the company really voiced his salary at a selector meeting. The press secretary refused to comment on the figure.
On May 5, Rosneft published information about the salary of the president of the company: according to the standard for payments and compensation to top managers, the official salary of the president of the corporation should amount to 15 to 20 million rubles. Rosneft is headed by Igor Sechin, the board of directors of the company on May 5 extended his powers for five years.
In March 2015, the Russian government allowed the heads of state -owned companies not to disclose information about income and property, as officials and deputies do. At the end of 2014, the Cabinet of Ministers obliged the top managers of state corporations to disclose information about their income. Yakunin called this demand an interference in his personal life and threatened to leave the Russian Railways.
