
As a result of the rebellion, which occurred on Sunday in the Bashkir IK-2 of the maximum regime in Salavat, 23 prisoners were injured. This was reported by the regional department of the TFR. Earlier, the Investigative Department entered into a riot in part 3 of Article 212 (calls for mass riots) and part 1 of Article 321 of the Criminal Code (disorganization of the activities of institutions that ensure isolation from society). The punishment for the first of these charges is up to 2 years of the colony, and the second - up to 5 years.
According to the TFR, during the rebellion, "the activists aged 22 to 59 years old were injured. Some recorded only bruises and abrasions, in others - traumatic brain injuries, and the third - fractures. Some of the victims are hospitalized in the medical unit of the colony.
The action began on the morning of May 10. According to Gulagu.net, the rebellion provoked mockery of both the administration and the "activists" cooperating with it. It was also reported that the Fsinists are "evacuated" from the institution.
The regional Federal Penitentiary Service reported that about 100 prisoners took part in the action, despite the fact that more than 1,200 people are contained there. Among the instigators of the riot were called a 30-year-old resident of the Stavropol Territory, sentenced by 18 years for theft, robbery, banditry, theft or extortion of weapons and drug trafficking.
The head of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Federal Penitentiary Service Viktor Shalygin, the prosecutor of Bashkiria Andrei Nazarov and members of the PMC arrived in IK-2. It is claimed that "collective and individual conversations" were held with the participants in the action and by 18:15 Sunday the riot stopped. According to the prison head, weapons and special equipment were not applied to prisoners.
As noted by "Mediazona", two years ago excitement had already passed in IK-2. The convicts pierced themselves with reinforcing rods in protest against bullying, including rape.
