Mostovik's creditors decided to petition the Arbitration Court of the Omsk Region to introduce bankruptcy proceedings into the company and sell the enterprise in parts, the Vedomosti newspaper reported , citing external manager Viktor Markov on Tuesday, May 12.

The interlocutor said that he does not count on financial recovery, since the debts are too large: the moratorium debt (at the time the bankruptcy procedure was introduced) is about 60 billion rubles, the current one is almost 13 billion rubles. Mostovik owes the most to Sberbank - about 30 billion rubles and Alfa Bank - 10 billion rubles, the newspaper clarifies.

During the competition, it is planned to sell two Omsk enterprises of Mostovik - a metal structures plant and a reinforced concrete products plant. The first is working, the second is idle waiting for the new season.

According to Markov, the value of all assets of Mostovik is about 20 billion rubles, approximately 10% is pledged to banks, this also includes about 6 billion rubles of receivables. He noted that this is only an expert estimate; the amount still needs to be proven in court. The interlocutor added that Mostovik owes its employees about 800 million rubles.

Previously, Sberbank and Alfa Bank twice asked the court for a third time to extend the monitoring procedure at Mostovik, which was introduced on June 26, 2014. David Kuznetsov, who was appointed general director of the company in December of the same year, planned to conclude a settlement agreement with creditors.

However, Sberbank voted for the introduction of bankruptcy proceedings, like most creditors, the newspaper refers to the bank’s response. Alfa Bank also confirmed that the bank voted for bankruptcy proceedings.

Markov, in turn, calculated that it is possible to restore Mostovik’s solvency within the 18 months of external management allotted by law if creditors agree to forgive 78% of all debts. However, no one “was ready to forgive the debt,” Alfa Bank said in its response.
