Kolchenko's arrest term extended by a month

The term of detention for one of those accused of organizing terrorist attacks in Crimea, Oleksandr Kolchenko, has been extended until June 16, 2015. At the same time, as the correspondent of “Frontier. Ru” , in his decision to extend the preventive measure, Judge Motorin calls Kolchenko a Ukrainian citizen, although earlier the Simferopol court refused to recognize Kolchenko’s right to retain Ukrainian citizenship.

Recall that Alexander Kolchenko is accused of having, as allegedly, members of the Right Sector organization, Alexander Kolchenko and director Oleg Sentsov, intended to commit sabotage and terrorist acts in Simferopol, Sevastopol and Yalta, in particular, explosions on the night of 8 to 9 May 2014 of improvised explosive devices near the "Eternal Flame Memorial" and the monument to Vladimir Lenin in Simferopol, as well as the arson of the offices of the public organization "Russian Community of Crimea" and the representative office of the "United Russia" party in Simferopol in April 2014.
