As a result of consideration by the Moscow City Court of the appeal of Olga Terekhina, who was sentenced to fifteen days of arrest for congratulating political prisoner Savchenko on her birthday, Judge Grishin decided to uphold the ruling of the lower court. It is reported on Twitter “Frontiers. Ru" . At the same time, it is specified that in total Terekhina will have to serve ten days.
The court session scheduled for two o'clock in the afternoon was postponed due to the fact that Terekhina was brought to court without a passport. The police officers went to the detention center for the documents of the activist.
We will remind, earlier the judge of the Tverskoy court Alesya Orekhova sentenced Olga Terekhina, who was detained on May 11 at the Lubyanka for actions in support of Nadezhda Savchenko, to five days under Art. 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (disobedience to the lawful demands of police officers) and ten days under Part 8 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (repeated violation of the procedure for holding a public event).
At the same time, according to the court decision, Terekhina was to spend 15 days in custody, although the terms of punishment for administrative offenses should not be summed up, but absorbed by more than less. At the same time , it was reported that in the special detention center where Terekhina was brought to serve her arrest, she was told that she would have to sit for only ten days, since the terms were being absorbed.
