In Strogino, two people were detained while trying to stop construction

In the Strogino floodplain, on the territory of the water base of the Nord-West Children and Youth Center, where it is planned to start an illegal, according to residents, redevelopment of the floodplain for the construction of a new sports school, two people were detained - a deputy of the Strogino municipal assembly Yevgeny Myshaev and another man.

Myshaev was detained by police at the moment when he was trying to protect a woman who was about to be attacked by employees of a private security company. As one of the protesting activists told OVD-Info, the police used violence.

Another municipal deputy, a veteran of the war, was pushed onto the fence by the private security company, as a result of which he injured his shoulder and now cannot raise his arm. He also received bruises on both legs. As a result, he had a heart attack and was taken away in an ambulance.

Another municipal deputy was blocked by the door at the entrance to the boat station of the water base, where she tried to go along with the correspondent she called. At the same time, according to the activist, one of the policemen present at the same time is the deputy for public order of the Stroginsky district, but she does not respond to the activists' appeal with a demand to stop the attack on the protesters.

Activists are trying to call the police, but so far no one has arrived at the construction site.

As the activist told OVD-Info, today they arrived at the territory of the water base of the Nord-West Children and Youth Center located in the Strogino floodplain with an excavator and a large truck.

Earlier, Moskomsport applied to Anton Kulbachevsky, Head of the Department of Nature Management and Environmental Protection of the City of Moscow, to redevelop the Strogino floodplain and build a sports school there, despite the fact that a sports school already exists in the floodplain, the coaches in it work mainly on a voluntary basis, mainly with children from disadvantaged families .

Despite the fact that the floodplain is a specially protected area, and therefore construction is prohibited there, Kulbachevsky signed a building permit. From that moment, according to the protesters, despite the fact that there is a decision of the municipal assembly and thousands of signatures of residents who disagree with the construction of a new sports school have been collected, an attempt has been made to seize the water base by force, enclose it with a fence and begin redevelopment and construction.
