Hospital. "Uncommon Sense"

The Moscow English -speaking group Hospital, playing on the warm -up of Lana Del Rey and The Neighbourhood, releases its second album UNCOMMMON SENSE. 9 dance songs in which a great love for British guitar music of the 1980s is felt-from a new wave to Madcheter. - What music did you play before the Hospital group?

- Such where you can throw a guitar at the drum installation at the end of each concert. But then we ran out of guitars, and we decided that it was time to tie.

- What kind of music are you playing now? How do you describe it? Who are your like -minded people among Russian groups?

- We play music, which is pleasant to ride even in the most broken wheelbarrow, and describe it as music, to which it is pleasant to ride even in the most broken car. We like to think that Hospital has become part of some kind of own wave in Russian music-along with Sea Radio , Parks , Squares and Alleys , Interdeer , Mari! Mari! We all play very different music, but we have a similar vision and a healthy share of irony in relation to what and how we are doing. Another group we sympathize with is Bajinda Behind the Enemy Lines . It impresses that they move along some kind of own trajectory.

- Why do you need to listen to the new Hospital album, and not, say, the new Mana Island album?

- Ideally, it will be good if you listen to both albums, and only then decide which of us has screwed up. It's like a paraphrased question about Oasis and Blur .

- The album is well recorded - where and how they wrote? How much time and money spent?

- They recorded the album along with Buglevsky bones in three different studios and partially at home. We did not particularly reflect on this. The album of Kretov ( Xuman Records ) was reduced, for which many thanks to him and the speedy new quadrocopter.

- How did you get to the warm -up to Lana Del Rey and what lesson was taken out of this joint performance?

- They got exclusively by the will of chance, without doing anything special for this. Regarding the lessons, it became quite obvious that it was very cool to play on large sites with good sound. We feel very comfortable in such conditions. Lana, by the way, is cool.

- Who do you work in free time from music?

-We sell robots, take care of fire safety, we are doing something else there, write about coffee and donuts.
