С составами у сборной России НЕПОНЯТНОЕ. Овечкин играет с Тихоновым и Плотниковым и это теперь первое звено. Связку Панарин-Шипачев-Дадонов разбили — вместо Дадонова там Тарасенко. Ковальчук в четвертом звене, и кстати он довольно плохо провел матч с финнами.

Я вел, да. Проиграли потому что играли плохо, причем даже непонятно, с чего начать. НХЛ-овцы были явно не в форме, кроме звена Панарин-Шипачев-Дадонов взаимопонимания не было, защитники играли как всегда — обычный такой провал группового этапа. А еще Знарок зачем-то обвинял судей и припоминал не засчитанную на Олимпиаде шайбу в ворота США.

И еще об Овечкине. Не без гордости скажу, что в этом сезоне я видел его чаще, чем Губерниев и Гусев вместе взятые. В этом сезоне матчей 50 я посмотрел «Вашингтона» (я за него болею) и еще матчей 8-9 в плей-офф.

By the way, about Ovechkin. Эта история в России почему-то мало обсуждалась, а в США и Канаде только о ней и говорили. Перед седьмым матчем серии с «Нью-Йорком» Овечкин сказал: «Мы приедем в Нью-Йорк и победим». Казалось бы, нормальные слова, но такие обещания не приняты в североамериканском хоккее. Их тут же все стали обсуждать — дошло до того, что местные аналитики упрекали Овечкина в риске своей репутацией. Буквально весь седьмой матч комментаторы только об этом и говорили, в перерывах об этом показывали сюжеты.
Овечкин приехал в Нью-Йорк, забросил, но проиграл. Сами понимаете, что там началось. Ясно, что он поспешил на первый же рейс в Чехию.

Мы уже сделали три записи и ни разу не упомянули об Овечкине. Исправляемся: он прилетел, тренировался в звене с Плотниковым и Тихоновым. Насколько он вымотан, сказать сложно, но с Овечкиным всяко интереснее, чем без него.
