“Crucified Putin” removed in Riga

The organizers of the Riga exhibition "Dissidents" removed the art composition "crucified Putin", which was installed in the courtyard of the former KGB building. According to one of the organizers Maxis Malnats, they are now thinking about what to do with the installation. He noted that the figure of a crucified man can resemble not only Putin, but also someone else.

The Real Estate Department of Riga noted that the organizers agreed to hold an exhibition about the idea of ​​dissent by the poet Rainis, which "did not involve this controversial installation."

“Art is not when we point a finger at something, but when we give a vision,” explained one of the organizers, Raivis Maksis Malnacs.
