The deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs discussed with Nuland the "problem nodes" of the Russian Federation and the USA

The deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov and US Department of Minister Victoria Nuland discussed problems in relations between Russia and the USA, TASS writes.

According to Ryabkov, the arrival of Nuland in Moscow is the result of discussions between the Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry in Sochi. “We were engaged in the consideration of problem nodes in bilateral relations, there are a lot of them. Starting from the military -political sphere and ending with humanitarian issues, including the situation with a number of Russian citizens under arrest in the United States and which are extradited to the United States in American orders, ”the Ministry of Foreign Minister explained.

Ryabkov believes that from the side of the American authorities there is an interest in dialogue with Moscow, but something can not be fixed quickly in bilateral relations. “In general, the situation in bilateral relations is depressing, and we believe that the responsibility for this is on Washington,” says the words of Interfax Deputy Minister.

In addition, he said that the topic of lifting sanctions at the meeting was not discussed. According to Ryabkov, the United States was introduced, so the American authorities must decide when and how they will remove them.
