As the interlocutor of the newspaper said, due to currency fluctuations, the prices for smartphones rose, and subscribers began to buy them less often. The reduction in the price of smartphones allowed the company to increase their sales by 40% for May holidays, while the revenue from their sale increased by 70%, Alutis said. He added that MTS calculates in five years of the return subsidy to increase ARPU by 2.5-3 times.
