Evgeny Grinko. "Graying Part 1 & 2"

Evgeny Grinko -a rock-bamper who turned into a pianist composer, attracted the original attention with a successful clip for the song “Waltz” , who made it famous even in Turkey. We present to you the new video of Evgeny Grinko, which was shot in Italy and has already managed to get a prize for operator work at the Festival from Inema Bamare 2014.

We met the director, as I remember now, on a rainy autumn day in Moscow. I went into fast food to check my gastritis for strength, and Nikolai wrote his diploma there. He recognized me and asked for permission to use my music in one of my works, I watched his work and was pleasantly surprised by cinematography, which he hastened to report. Six months later, we met at the Youth Film Festival in Italy to shoot a joint video.

The final idea of ​​the clip came 6 hours before the start of the filming. We had 3 shifts for 4 hours. For the first shift, we took off the scene in an abandoned house. For the second - they took off the piano in the field. There should also be a scene in the water. For her sake, we got up at 4 in the morning, almost without sleeping, and went to the sea, swam around the cold water to the place where the water was supposed to be clean, but the operator Casper told us that we could swim back, since the water would not come out and the shooting would not come out. We sailed upset back, and suddenly, having heard the singing Polish mat, I realized that Kasper attacked Medusa - in those days there were a lot of them in the sea.

Residents from the Italian town S -B Endetto del T Ronto willingly helped us when we told them what we were shooting and for what. Vitalik, our video producer, agreed with a local music store, and they themselves brought a piano to the field. Immediately, at a local music school, we recorded an audio path of this composition, since before the start of the filming I had only a concert fragment. It’s hard for me to imagine that in our homeland we could get such disinterested support.

We met Zhenya by accident, I wanted him to write music for my film, and I was sure that he would not answer. And he answered, we met, and he immediately offered to take him a clip. Then I wore some scenarios in dressing rooms after concerts and was sure that the shooting was unlikely to be carried out. In the summer, I went to Italy for filming, suggested that I take a clip there. Unexpectedly, Eugene bought a ticket and arrived a couple of days later. During these days, the operator and I prepared everything for filming, but at the first meeting, Zhenya said that we would shoot to other music. In a panic, I got him to the restaurant, and he ran away on “urgent matters”. During the dinner, it was necessary to redo the script, I prayed that Zhenya would eat slowly.

Then there were a search for locations. We traveled an incredible number of abandoned houses, in one of which we almost remained under the rubble. They accidentally found this Hitchcock bird in a cage. What she did on a tree at an abandoned house, where there can be no people in the district, remained a mystery.

It was the most difficult to get a piano. At the words “antique piano”, “transportation” and “field” in one sentence, the Italians were perplexed. It could not have occurred to anyone what we were going to do. For a bottle of wine, we asked a friend of the Italian producer of an alcoholic for help, and he, seducing the owner of the store, nevertheless convinced her of the need to bring the piano to another city, to the top of the mountain. The movers shot the process of transporting on the video simply because their friends considered them idiots and liars. In general, despite the difficulties, it was good, especially when we finished shooting, the movers had not yet returned and Zhenya arranged a small concert in the field at the top of the mountain.
