
Ukraine terminated the agreement on military-technical cooperation with Russia, concluded in 1993. According to Ukrainian Pravda, this was stated by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
“The Russian Federation is an aggressor state,” the head of the Cabinet of Ministers explained. “The Russian Federation illegally annexed Crimea, the Russian Federation has implemented military intervention on the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, the Russian Federation is a danger to the Ukrainian state and its territorial integrity.”
In June 2014, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko completely banned cooperation with Russia in the military sector. The sale of products of the military-industrial complex to Russia was discontinued in March 2014 , but the supply of double goods continued. The ban on Poroshenko put an end to this supply.
A few weeks ago it became known that the cessation of the supply of turbines from Ukraine led to a delay in the construction of the latest projects of project 22350 for the Russian Navy.
