The court arrested the defendants in the case of extortion in "Sailor Silence"

According to investigators, employees of the insulator, together with “criminal authority” demanded money from an entrepreneur, which was contained in the “sailor silence”

The Preobrazhensky Court of Moscow arrested six current and former employees of the Sailor Silence of the Investigative Dog, suspected of extortion. They will remain in custody until July 9, Interfax reports.

At the request of the investigation, the former head of the operational department of the pre-trial detention center Mikhail Zakharov, Overseers Pavel Petran, Valentin Bazaev and Anton Devyataev, as well as a former employee of Sailor Silence, Anatoly Osmachko and a talentologist of one of the Moscow hospitals Fatima Nayfonov.

According to investigators, the employees of the insulator, together with the “criminal authority” demanded money from the entrepreneur, which was contained in the “sailor silence”. To do this, they organized several meetings in different chambers, during which the extortionist exerted moral pressure on the prisoner and handed him a mobile phone to call his father and asked to transfer money to the bank card of the defendants in the case.

The founder of the social network for prisoners Gulagu.net Vladimir Osechkin told RBC that human rights activists are aware of the existence of extortion schemes in all metropolitan pre -trial detention centers except Lefortovo. Behind them is a real criminal group of former and current FSIN employees, along with the so -called “criminal authorities”. According to Osechkin, there is a real trade in businessmen who are sold in camera for extortionists who are ready to pay more.
