Denin was charged with abuse of authority
The ex-governor of the Bryansk region Nikolai Denin, who was charged with abuse of power today, is placed under house arrest.
The reason for initiating a criminal case was the order of Denin issued in December 2011 - January 2012 to allocate more than 21 million 800 thousand rubles from the reserve fund of the Bryansk region for the Snezhka commercial organization controlled by his family. The investigation believes that budget funds were allocated in the absence of legal grounds and were spent under the pretext of eliminating the consequences of the explosion in one of the production premises that occurred due to violation of safety requirements. The TFR calls the explosion at the Snezhka poultry farm in 2011 by an incident of a local nature, which was unreasonably regarded as an emergency.
The ex-governor of the Bryansk region rejected the charges against him.
