Mikhail Saakashvili participated in Odessa's march in Odessa

In Odessa, the regional center in southern Ukraine, a large-scale march of embroidery was held: about 2,000 people, including the ex-President of Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvili, were published in shirts embroidered with national ornaments, Ukrainian Pravda reports.

Odessa residents launched state flags, sang the anthem and moved along Deribasovskaya to the Opera Theater, and from there to Primorsky Boulevard. The column made a stop on the Duma Square, near the city hall building, where the participants in the action performed the popular songs "Warriors of the Light", "Chervona Ruta", RIA Novosti reports.

During the procession, the participants sang folk songs and chanted patriotic slogans, including “Glory to Ukraine, Glory to the Heroes!”, “Bandera, Shukhevich - Heroes of Ukraine!”, UNIAN reports.

The festival ended with a traditional evening near the Potemkin staircase.

Also, the march of embroidery was held in Kharkov, but the procession was an order of magnitude more modest in scope: about 200 citizens took part in it. Participants in the rally went through the city center from the Svoboda Square to the Square Square. During the procession, Ukrainian songs sang and chanted pro -Ukrainian slogans.
