The second round of presidential elections takes place in Poland on Sunday. The current head of Poland Bronislav Komorovsky (with the support of the ruling party of the Civil Platform in the country) and a candidate from the largest opposition party and justice in the country, Andrzej Duda, were included in the voting ballot.
In the first round of May 10, Komorovsky lost only one percent to Duda.
More than 27 thousand polling stations opened on Sunday in Poland at 07:00 in the morning local time (08:00 Moscow time), they will work until 21:00. After the voting is completed, local media will be able to publish the data of the Ekzit Polols - surveys of voters at the exit from the site, RIA Novosti reports.
The chances of presidential candidates to win the second round of the elections are almost equal, the data of the latest surveys conducted on May 22 indicate. According to the results of the IBRIS research center, 46.7% of respondents are ready to vote for Komorovsky in the second round, 46% are ready for dudu. At the same time, 7% of respondents said they had not yet decided on the choice. According to the Millward Brown survey, 45.8% of respondents are ready to vote in the second round, 45.3% are ready for Komorovsky. At the same time, 8.9% of respondents said they had not yet decided on the choice.
Experts note that voters will be crucial for the result of voting. Voters of the Conservative Party "Law and Justice" traditionally go to the polls, while the electorate of the liberal "Civil Platform" must be convinced to go to the sites and vote.
