The leader of the Night Wolves challenged the former people's mayor of Sevastopol, and now the speaker of the city's Legislative Assembly, Alexei Chaly, to a duel. The reason was the issue of land ownership, which was given to the bikers by the authorities.

We are talking about a plot near Mount Gasforta, which, by order of May 12, was supposed to go to bikers for a minimum payment - 0.1% of the cost of 1.4 billion rubles, reports the Kommersant newspaper . The issue was brought to a meeting of the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol, where Chaly proposed to put the allocation of land up for public discussion and pointed out that we are talking about a unique natural object, moreover, with a nature protection zone.

The deputies recommended that the authorities of Sevastopol cancel the suspended agreement of May 12, and develop a concept for the development of the territory in the area of Mount Gasforta, including urban planning and environmental documentation, and ensure that public hearings are held on them.

In response, on May 23, the bikers drove up to the city parliament building, summoned Chaly, and Zaldostanov suggested the speaker “a duel on any information platform” to give an answer to “his lies and incompetence.” Chaly did not come out to the bikers, but those around him explained that the “Night Wolves” came to the Legislative Assembly on its day off.

Until 2014, Alexey Chaly was the director of a local industrial group. Last February, he was elected at a city meeting as the “people's mayor” of Sevastopol. It was Chaly who signed an agreement with Vladimir Putin on the admission of Sevastopol and Crimea to Russia on March 18, 2014.
