The special forces of the Russian GRU, Captain Yevgeny Erofeev and Sergeant Alexander Alexandrov, arrested in Ukraine for terrorism, was visited in the Kyiv hospital by the head of the consular department of the Russian Embassy in Ukraine, Alexei Rough. It is reported by TSN.
During a rude visit to the hospital, a special access control was introduced: the cars were carefully checked, and not everyone was allowed into the territory of the facility. In the chamber, the consul entered the SBU investigators. The meeting lasted about 1 hour 40 minutes.
At the end of the visit, the rude went through the back door and tried to hide from the journalists. The diplomat refused to comment on the comments, offering to wait for the official commentary of the embassy. "They are alive, relatively healthy - this is already good. We met - this is the main thing now," the consul said.
Journalists asked the rude whether the exchange of Ukrainians arrested for captured, including Nadezhda Savchenko, was possible. The consul replied that before the end of the investigative actions about the exchange, there can be no question.
The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine a week ago sent to the Russian embassy all the information necessary for communication with Erofeev and Alexandrov. Meanwhile, the Russian foreign policy, instead of sending the consul to the arrested, stated that the authorities of Ukraine were not allowed to be special forces by the Russian diplomat.
Earlier, Amnesty International said that, visiting Erofeev and Alexandrov, " they did not find and did not see traces of torture and cruelty" with them.
For 10 days, which have passed since the capture of the special forces in captivity, they did several operations, because in battle they were injured. The health status of the arrested doctors evaluate as satisfactory.
