Two St. Petersburg ambulance doctors got into a fight with two police officers who reprimanded them for drinking beer on the street. During the conflict, one of them hit a police officer with a stun gun. According to Fontanka , the incident occurred the night before near house No. 26 on Kolomyazhsky Avenue. An operative and a district police officer with the rank of police lieutenant and captain saw two young men drinking beer and reprimanded them. After a verbal altercation ensued, one of the offenders hit both police officers with a stun gun. “Then the detention began, which escalated into a fight,” the publication writes. Later, one of the doctors came to the duty station for his comrade with a “gangster kit,” Fontanka writes, promising to publish details in the near future. According to the publication, the investigative department of the Primorsky district of the Investigative Committee for St. Petersburg is now deciding whether to initiate a criminal case under Article 318 of the Criminal Code (use of violence against a government official).
