Awarded the Prize "Resonance"

On Wednesday, May 27, in the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater, a award ceremony for young critics in the field of academic music and the Musical Theater “Resonance” was held. Yaroslav Timofeev received the I degree award.

120 applications from all over Russia were submitted for the prize in the “Best Critical Text” nomination. The short list included four names: Ekaterina Klyuchnikova (Moscow), Elena Musaleyan (Moscow), Bogdan Korolek (Petersburg) and Yaroslav Timofeev (Moscow).

The II degree award was awarded to Bogdan Korolka, the III degree award is Elena Musaleyan and Ekaterina Klyunykova. Links to publishing laureates are given on the website of the Diaghilev festival.

Earlier, the winner in the nomination “The Best Media, writing about academic music and the music theater, became known - the magazine“ Musical Life ”.

The All -Russian Resonance Prize is the largest project in Russia to support young (not older than 35) musical critics writing about academic music and the music theater. The award was established by the Ministry of Culture, Youth Policy and Mass Communications of the Perm Territory, the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater and the Obscura Camera fund with the assistance of the Faculty of Free Arts and Sciences of St. Petersburg State University. The project curators are Anastasia Zubareva and Anna Infantyeva.

The reward is awarded in three nominations:

• The best critical text (award I, II and III degree);
• The best media writing about academic music and the music theater;
• Honorary Prize for contribution to the development of theatrical and musical criticism.

Prize winners for the best text and for special merits are awarded with cash prizes. The winners in the “Best Media” nomination receive an invitation to the Diaghilev festival for two editorial members.
