Crimean activist Oleksandr Kostenko, who was sentenced to two years and four months in prison on charges of harming a Berkut fighter in Kiev and illegal possession of weapons, is required to testify against other participants in the colony. According to the portal "Crimea. Realities,” Kostenko’s lawyer Dmitry Sotnikov said on May 28.
According to him, in return, the activist was promised to ensure his protection in the colony, as well as to punish the FSB officers who beat him during his detention in a pre-trial detention center. Kostenko did not agree to this proposal, the lawyer emphasized.
