Poland managed to sell all the apples contrary to Russian sanctions

Despite Russian sanctions, Polish gardeners managed to sell all apples grown last season. Says Alexey Dzikavitsky.

Despite the fact that some of the apples raised in Poland had to be sold at very low prices, because the exporters did not expect a Russian embargo, they were still sold, and Polish manufacturers win new markets - in Europe, Asia and North Africa.

“Even if Russia extends the ban on the import of Polish apples, and we will produce more of them - and such an opportunity exists, then we will find other markets in the world where we will supply our apples. If the Russian embargo is canceled, this work will not disappear, because we will already be much less dependent on the Russian market,” said Miroslav Malishevsky, chairman of the Polish gardeners.

Thanks to public campaigns, the consumption of apples in the domestic market increased.
