The EU Delegation in Moscow confirmed that on Thursday, May 28, they received from the Russian Foreign Ministry a list of 89 EU citizens who are banned from entering Russia. According to Soren Liborius, spokesman for the European mission, the Foreign Ministry warned that the list was not intended for publication.
According to Liborius, the list appeared after Bundestag deputy Karl-Georg Wilmann could not enter Russia, and he found out about the entry ban already at the border.
At the same time, he expressed regret that the document of the Russian Foreign Ministry does not indicate any reasons why this or that person cannot visit Russia and does not say anything about legal procedures in this regard.
