
In St. Petersburg, two heads of the Fininvest bank were detained. Such information is transmitted by TASS with reference to an unnamed source, "familiar with the situation."
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Internal Affairs in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region reported the detention of the owner and chairman of the board of a certain bank, the name of which is not specified. Both are suspected of part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud on an especially large scale), which provides for up to 10 years of the colony.
The suspects were interrogated. In addition, the investigative-operational group, with the support of the SOBR, held a series of searches on Monday on Monday.
The case was opened by uniting three different cases into one production in part 4 of Article 159, initiated on the facts of the illegal withdrawal of the bank’s funds. The total damage from the actions of the suspects is estimated at almost 1 billion rubles.
The first episode dates from July 2013. It is alleged that then a loan agreement was concluded between the bank and a certain company in the amount of 487 million rubles. At the same time, the police department notes, the company did not fulfill the terms of the contract, and the money was stolen.
In October 2013, another company entered into a purchase and sale agreement with the bank 156 thousand bonds of the Ministry of Finance for a total of over 162 million rubles. Nevertheless, the money was not transferred for these bonds for these bonds.
Finally, in July 2014, the bank signed an agreement with a certain individual, according to which he sold his building to the counterparty. After that, the investigation says, “to conceal the gratuitousness of the transaction” was simulated by the introduction of 307 million rubles to the bank's cash desk. Then the building was re -registered to the buyer.
In the same month, the Bank of Russia withdrew the license from Fininvest and appointed a temporary administration to this bank. The regulator called the reasons for such a measure to the high -risk credit policy of Fininvest and the provision of inaccurate financial statements.
As of June 1, 2014, Fininvest occupied 179th place in the banking system of Russia.
