Lavrov called the introduction of sanctions by Russia a response to a “unilateral, unfriendly, unnecessary step” (the introduction of anti -Russian sanctions by the European Union. - Ed.). He emphasized that Russia was restrained for a long time and its answer is less large than the EU sanctions.
