Political prisoner Aleksey Sutuga, without informing his relatives or lawyers, was transferred to IK-2, a strict regime colony in Angarsk. writes about this Novaya Gazeta with reference to the lawyer of the political prisoner Alexander Zverev. His mother Olga Sutuga wrote about Sutuga's absence in the colony where he was previously held on Facebook last Sunday. This became known when, during the transfer of the parcel, it turned out that he was not on the lists. His lawyer, Svetlana Sidorkina, did not immediately manage to get through to the head of the colony, Sergei Gurulev, who confirmed that Sutuga was not in the colony. However, he did not say exactly where the prisoner was transferred, when and why the relatives are not notified. He explained his refusal to give explanations by the fact that he could not identify Sidorkina, who called as a lawyer, over the phone.
Today, Sutuga's lawyer received confirmation that his client was transferred from IK-14 to IK-2, the transfer to a strict regime colony took place on May 28, according to the lawyer, during the transfer Sutuga was cut up all the books - everything that his friends handed over. Now Aleksey is being held in a four-bed cell, three of his current “neighbors” have also been transferred from IK-14.
According to lawyer Svetlana Sidorkina, the administration of the colony did not have the right to decide on the toughening of punishment, this is the jurisdiction of the court. On this occasion, lawyers have already prepared complaints to the Federal Penitentiary Service and the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation. The defenders also intend to appeal against all the penalties that were imposed on Alexei.
Recall, earlier it became known that Sutuga was going to be transferred to the solitary confinement of the EPKT for a year - a single cell-type room, allegedly for some violations. Sutuga had previously been subjected to pressure during his imprisonment. He was kept in a pre-trial detention center for longer than expected and was not sent to a colony, but upon arrival at the colony, he was immediately sent to a punishment cell, and recently he was kept in solitary confinement, albeit with another prisoner.
