Sources of the ABC News television channel reported that Blatter is under the investigation of the FBI as part of the case, in which seven members of the FIFA leadership were arrested last week. No details of the publication are given.

The representative of the FBI said that his department did not intend to comment on the media statements and report anything besides what was already said by the Prosecutor General and Director of the FBI.
