The euro exchange rate on the Moscow Exchange reached 63 rubles

The European currency at the auction on the Moscow Exchange has risen in price to 63 rubles. Compared with the closing level of the previous session, the euro has risen in price by more than 1.8 rubles. At the mark of 63 rubles, the euro was last traded on April 1.

The exchange rate of the dollar against the ruble is also growing. The American currency costs 55.87 rubles, having risen in price by 1.52 rubles compared to the previous day.

On June 3, the dollar and the euro rose in price by almost two rubles during the trading session.

• Experts linked the weakening of the ruble with the decline in world oil prices, as well as with the uncertainty around Greece's negotiations with international creditors.
• They pointed out that a new aggravation of the situation in the east of Ukraine, where on June 3 there were battles near the city of Marinka, could also play a role in reducing the exchange rate of the ruble.
