The bi-currency basket increased by 2.34 rubles to 58.12 rubles.
During trading on the Moscow Exchange today at 15:53, the maximum value of the dollar was 55.27 rubles, the euro - 62.72 rubles, RBC reports .
Earlier today, Central Bank Chairman Elvira Nabiullina said that it does not seek to influence the ruble exchange rate by conducting currency interventions, adding that it is now in an equilibrium position. At the same time, the head of the regulator noted the danger of artificially strengthening the ruble: this leads to the same risks as its artificial weakening.
