The dollar rate for the first time from April 3 rose above 57 rubles, reaching 57.06 rubles at the maximum. This is 60 kopecks higher than the closing level of a bidding on June 4.
The euro rose from the minimum of the day above the mark of 63 rubles.
According to the experts of the Veles Capital IR, in the case of a further decrease in the price of oil and the escalation of the Ukrainian conflict, the dollar will reach 60 rubles in June.
On the eve of the opening of trading on the Moscow Exchange, the euro rose by 90 kopecks, reaching 62.04 rubles. The dollar grew by 77 kopecks - up to 55.07 rubles.
In the fall of 2014, the collapse of the ruble began. On December 16, the fall reached the lower point - the euro cost more than 100 rubles for some time, the dollar - more than 80. Then the Russian currency was slightly strengthened - in the middle of the winter, the euro cost 70-80 rubles, the dollar - 60-70.
In the spring, the growth of the Russian currency began. In May, the dollar cost less than 50 rubles, the euro - less than 55. A new fall in the ruble began only in recent weeks.
On May 22, the Deputy Minister of Finance Andrei Moiseev called the ruble floating currency and remarked: "I think that we entered a situation where there will be no such sharp jumps (course. - Ed.) ."
