Egypt excluded Hamas from among terrorist organizations. On Saturday, the Egyptian court annulled the February decision of another court, which included a radical movement in the list of terrorist organizations, Reuters reports.

As TASS reports, this decision was made due to the fact that the court that recognized the Hamas is not “competent” for issuing such conclusions.

Following the removal from the authorities in early July 2013, the Muslim Brothers and their protege President Muhammad Mursi in Egypt, the situation in the field of security was sharply aggravated. Extremist groups have intensified in the country, which act mainly in the north of the Sinai Peninsula. During this time, the attacks of terrorists, who are increasingly going beyond the borders of Sinai, hundreds of police officers and military personnel died.

The current authorities of Egypt are accusing Hamas of supporting the militants who carry out attacks on the Egyptian security forces on the Sinai Peninsula.
