I was going to a rally against declaring Dmitry Zimin a foreign agent, but ended up at a rally in defense of science and education from unnamed obscurantists. Dmitry Zimin personally asked not to hold a rally about him, and it was not held about him - so, they mentioned it in passing as a special case of general obscurantism. There was also no rally about Putin; they were also mentioned in passing as a typical example of a lieutenant colonel in the special services with disrespectful attitudes towards scientists. They, such lieutenant colonels, have a peculiarity that they call people they don’t like foreign agents. Not in a literal, but in a figurative sense, that is, as if these unpleasant people are grist to the mill of a potential enemy, although they are not connected with him financially. Like traitors to the homeland, but called in Aesopian language.

There is an Aesopian language, and this was an Aesopian rally - against the fact that he who must not be named called the one who asked not to be mentioned a foreign agent.

Almost every speaker began with the idea that science and education are outside of politics. It was not entirely clear what was meant - whether it was a message to the politicians who were in power, that the audience was not opposition - we are outside of politics, we did not gather in a political sense - either a wish to them so that they would not get rid of science and not climbed - we are out of politics, and would like to continue to remain there. We can assume that this was a special case of an Azopov language, when another was transmitted by expressing one content. Science opens the laws of the universe, education transfers their knowledge to future generations, and the need for this activity does not depend on political paradigms. That is, it should not depend, and therefore science and education until recently were outside of politics, and would like to continue to remain there. Now this relationship is not transitive - they are outside, but she is not. But I wish it weren't like that. There must be additional distribution - here is politics, and here is science, and they do not meet. There should be, but there isn't.

Although the state authorities and scientists and professors in Russia have been in a state of conflict since time immemorial, the old-timers will not remember such a thing that there was direct persecution of science. Science does not yet know why this happened, but it is collecting facts. The facts are that first the Academy of Sciences was castrated, now universities are being merged and closed, scientific and teaching salaries are being cut by two-thirds, and if science is supported by private business, then it is declared a foreign agent. What could this be connected with?

No, really, this is interesting. They set a course for restoration, but in the USSR there was science. The Soviet government loved science. Comrade Stalin made an atomic bomb, Comrade Khrushchev - a thermonuclear one and built the Academy Town in Novosibirsk. But we have the opposite movement, which is not explainable from a scientific point of view.

If science and education were not outside politics, this matter could be explained.

As Boris Grebenshchikov succinctly formulated this in the old Soviet years, “we grew up in a field of such tension, where any device burns out at once.” Laconically, but not precisely - everything burns, except crap. From a scientific point of view, Soviet power can be described as a field that reduces the potential of everything except crap. And shit, on the contrary, has an increasing potential, which creates a difference in potentials that ensures the dynamics of the Soviet country. It was an institute for the selection of illiterate, internally ready for any, the most archaic meanness, scum, greedy, stupid and servile, who could sincerely believe and loudly prove that they are the vanguard of all humanity. Moreover, a continuum of meanness, servility and sycophancy arose here, so that a shell of crap was formed.

Bearing in mind that in its idea the Soviet Union was a globe (it was going to spread over the entire globe), this shell can be called a coprosphere.

This institute is being revived. I don’t know if you noticed, but there is a trend that in the last two years there has been a sharp vertical rise of crap factions. In a variety of areas - whether in the field of protecting children's rights, in theatrical life, in the media, in jurisprudence, in the parliamentary sphere - everywhere. You come across amazing specimens, like, say, V. Kekhman or L. Ryabtseva, but here, I think, the influence of the residual field of show business is affecting, giving birth to stars in shit. In general, this phenomenon is uncharacteristic of the process; the fate of the stars is problematic. Stellar disturbances in the coprosphere appear only at the initial stage of the eruption of shit; in fact, it is homogeneous.

So, returning to the problem of science. The main question here is how crap can control science. By the way, exactly the same question arises in relation to culture, but, unfortunately, we do not consider this phenomenon. Science is not only outside of politics, but also outside of culture - it never occurs to anyone to connect the processes initiated by Mr. Medinsky in culture with the actions of unnamed obscurantists in science. Because linking them can be regarded as politics, and science is outside of politics. So, how can this layer of people, selected on the basis of illiteracy, unprincipledness, greed and stupidity, control scientists with directly opposite principles of selection?

The answer is simple - you need to introduce an evaluation criterion that is not inherent to the system. If we evaluate natural sciences according to their compliance with the postulates of Marxism-Leninism, then scientists, due to the limitation of their consciousness by the principles of verifiability, consistency and reliability of knowledge, will give in to this operation - either refuse to do it, or shove in something that cannot be pushed in. That's what you need to get. With this, you can smash mathematicians (the case of Academician Luzin), cyberneticists, geneticists - whoever you want, smash him. At the same time, scientists are still people, they tend to enter into exchange relations - we are ready to accept you, pogromists, as our own, provided that you, in turn, will not smash us, or will smash us in a predictable way. This is how figures like Ernest Kohlman or Isaac Present appear, like there is nowhere to put a mark, but doctors and even academicians. This is now we have a “disserter”, and we pretend that there was no fake dissertation, but now this is what an attack. Listen, we have almost completely chairmen of the regional committees, director of factories, party instructors, generals and colonels, ceremony and chairmen of state farms, if not doctors, then candidates of sciences - did they write all this?

So scientists do not understand how to introduce the concept of a foreign agent in relation to science - the science is international, they do not understand this? And cultural figures do not understand how a secular culture can be checked for compliance with Orthodox values-this is some kind of confusion, it is a secular! It's amazing what kind of people they are! Yes, it is precisely the fact that the criterion of a foreign agent is not compatible with scientific knowledge, and Orthodox fundamentalism - with freedom of creativity, they are beautiful! That is why they are suitable so that shit can build scientists, directors, writers, etc. for itself, and manage them, but how else? Do you want to do science?

Unfortunately, this is not a very good explanation, since it casts a shadow on Soviet science. And our scientific community shares the desire of society to return to the USSR, albeit in its own special field. We would restore the Soviet Academy of Sciences, we would restore Soviet universities, library day for employees with a degree, special clinics and grocery orders for doctors of science, cottages and cars with a personal driver for academicians, and - paradise. Is it really Paradise?

Our science is outside of politics, but if it were inside, this could be resisted.

According to my estimates (size of area and density per square meter), four to five thousand people came to the rally. This is as much as it comes to one Higher School of Economics for Open Day. Do they all want to become scum or be controlled by shit? No, they don't want that yet. More than 40 thousand students study at Moscow State University alone! There, at the rally, there were a lot of teachers, but somehow no one invited their students with them. And if you combine this with an audience frapped by Mr. Medinsky? After all, there are a lot of them in every theater, in every museum, plus spectators - a lot of people. But this is some kind of rebellion; under no circumstances is this possible.

Science is beyond politics. Well, if so, I’ll tell you, dear comrades, what will happen. Everything will be fine with you, comrades. In the near future, the state will begin to show concern for science as part of a general return to the USSR, and we will again begin to think to ourselves that we are an advanced scientific power. Because how? Is it possible, say, to annex part of Ukraine without science? We need to study everything, how it works there - flora, fauna and in general.

Just before this revival, two things need to be done. Firstly, to cleanse the personnel who were scattered in the freedom of the damned 90s and beyond. Meetings, criticism, self-criticism. Some received grants from foreign foundations, some from private ones - public repentance. For malicious repeated receipt of a grant from a foreign source of funding at the head of a scientific team, one will, of course, have to be fired from work and the matter referred to the authorities. But if not at the head of the team, but as a member, and under pressure from the scientific supervisor, you can forgive it. And in the case of intense repentance with exposure of pressure, it is possible to advance. For receiving a one-time grant without sincere repentance, we will be demoted from the American Foundation to junior laboratory assistant. In general, this is a creative process. You need to sort through the people, or, scientifically speaking, turn on a force field to separate fractions of crap in the scientific community.

Secondly, you need to introduce your own people. That we have them only in the media and in the theater is wrong. Wait, comrades scientists, for the appearance of a new academician Lysenko. We need a bright pogromist from science from within science itself. The social order has been formed, a figure is urgently needed. Take Mr. Petrik for example. Is there an impression that he suffered from the machinations of American imperialism?

Yes, and I would probably also recommend potatoes. It's been a long time since our scientists went to collect potatoes.

The benefit to the national economy may be small, but it is very sobering for scientists. They correctly understand their place, and some even then get carried away and go on hikes to sing sad songs about wet Christmas trees and rotten sneakers.

And the rallies... I was thinking that before 1988 I didn’t participate in rallies, because there weren’t any (not counting the Soviet ones). But here, when I stood at a rally in defense of someone who asked not to be mentioned, against someone who cannot be named, this reminded me very much of something. The smoking room of the Lenin Library, that's what. There were rallies there every day, we can say that I was so wearing all my youth. Precisely without naming or mentioning, because everything is clear anyway. And it doesn't bother shit.
