Among the entertainment loved ones, football and sex occupy a special place, and, it would seem, their combination should completely beat the target without a miss. Apparently, representatives of the pharmaceutical industry also believe. A man of pre -retirement age is overturned with the help of Ceals - an unchanging attribute of any broadcast of the Russian Football Championship. And now it turns out that he poses a threat not only to a healthy psyche. As an independent study has shown, some biologically active additives (dietary supplements) contain prohibited substances, the uncontrolled use of which can lead to serious consequences for the body.
For men experiencing problems with potency, there are two types of drugs: dietary supplements and medicines. What is the difference? Bades, according to the law, should contain only plant components and rather strengthen health. Medicines are needed for those who are not just not confident in themselves, but are seriously sick, in our case they suffer from "erectile dysfunction." Medicines contain potent synthetic substances and should be used strictly as prescribed by a doctor, and sold only according to the prescription. If you add a medicinal substance to the dietary supplement, then the consumer, especially at first, will seem more effective than other additives. This increases sales, but creates serious health risks.
It is not surprising that conscientious manufacturers and industry associations want to protect the market, and hence the consumer. Therefore, in April, the Union of Professional Pharmaceutical Organizations (SPFO), non -profit partnership “Unification of producers of biologically active food additives” (SRO NP OP BAD) and “Pharmacy Guild” conducted an independent study of the market by the method of control procurement.
In the pharmacies of Moscow, dietary supplements were acquired to strengthen potency, which were subsequently investigated at once in three state scientific centers: the Russian University of Friendship of Peoples, the Center for Medicific and Quality of the Department of Health of the city of Moscow and in the Main State Center for the forensic and forensic examinations of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The results of the Operation “Control Procurement” are surprising and alarming: in 25 out of 29 acquired samples, substances undeclared by manufacturers were discovered, and not some harmless impurities, but potent substances-tadalafil and sildenafil (in one case).
Tadalafil according to the norms of Russian legislation is prohibited for use as part of food dietary supplements, but not because it is harmful in itself, but because it requires a carefully selected dosage. For example, there are drugs containing tadalafil on the domestic market, but they are sold only by prescription, and the daily dose of Tadalafil itself should not exceed 5 milligrams. At the same time, in a number of drugs that fell under the control purchase, it was two, five, or even nine times higher.
At the same time, different parties of the same dietary supplement may contain a different dosage of pharmaceuticals, which is not surprising: they are “pouring” secretly, and there is no quality control. Yes, if even he was, and if the dosage of the same Tadalafil in each capsule did not go out for reasonable values, it would not relieve risks. After all, the consumer does not know what he actually accepts. Now let's think about who and in what situations resort to stimulation of “male power”. As a rule, these are men aged, many of which take cardiovascular, for example, drugs. Well, drink “for courage”, in addition to taking a pill, in this case, according to many, it will not hurt ... In a word, there are risks of obtaining a really dangerous mixture.
This means that in the risk zone there are up to four million Russians who regularly or periodically use dietary supplements to increase potency, including drugs of unscrupulous manufacturers (they are among the market leaders).
Pharmaceuticals based on the results of the study were discovered in the following dietary supplements: “Tongkat Ali Platinum” (Polens, Malaysia), Laveron and Orijex (Nilen Alliance Group, USA), Chinese preparations “Fujunbao” and “Saima”, as well as in the additions of Russian origin “Sealex Fort” and “Alikaps” (manufacturer - manufacturer - manufacturer VIS LLC, exclusive distributor - RIA Panda company).

PS "New Gazeta" sent official requests to the Ministry of Health, Rospotrebnadzor and the General Prosecutor's Office. We count on substantial answers.

- Registration of any drug is a very long procedure with clinical studies. It can stretch for at least 4-5 years. These are tremendous costs. In relation to dietary supplements, research is also conducted, including safety, but this is performed by the Rospotrebnadzor bodies in their laboratories. It turns out the procedure is simpler, less long and with costs an order less than when registering medicines. Therefore, it is beneficial to register them as dietary supplements to manufacturers of drugs that include pharmaceuticals. Moreover, for official research, a “clean” product - not containing pharmaceutical substances and formally complies with the requirements for bioactive additives, gets into Rospotrebnadzor.
Once on the market, “pseudo -sales”, which includes un -given pharmacological substances, compete with drugs that have passed a long and expensive registration procedure, which, respectively, increased their retail price. Naturally, the consumer, when the difference is not visible, will not pay anymore. There is, from the manufacturers of dietary supplements, are unfair competition.
Even non -specialists understand that active pharmaceuticals have such a strong effect on the body that their uncontrolled vacation without a prescription and taking without specifying and observing a doctor is dangerous. Such use makes human health hostage a huge number of random factors. How can it control the rate of admission and the maximum permissible dose, if in the documentation of dietary supplements (unlike any certified drug) there is no information about the presence and number of active substances, dosage and side effects?
The Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences is an independent and disinterested party, conducting an examination, has no reason to act as the initiators of the initiation of a criminal case. But the results of this examination were reported at parliamentary hearings in the State Duma. This is an occasion for contacting law enforcement agencies.

- The consequences of the use of dietary supplements containing un -blessed pharmaceuticals can be the most unpredictable. This resembles a Russian roulette when a person does not know if the barrel is charged, or not, when the trigger presses. In the case of drugs affecting the circulatory system, the same thing: a person does not know that a potent substance contains the drug. And it can cause severe complications when taking co -displaying drugs, antitumor, etc.
Bades are not intended for emergency use as a number of drugs - these are preparations of prolonged and preventive effects. They require taking many weeks or even months, and their effect is not visible at once. Chemical pharmacological drugs act quickly, the effect is evident, but they are the same and dangerous. If you do not know what you take, saving a person with side effects is very difficult.
Now, with the introduction of the law on the fight against counterfeit, and then, I hope, the likely closest ratification of the medicine (the International Convention to Combat Medical counterfeit), the situation to combat such violations becomes more favorable.
