Varvara Karaulova met with her father

Varvara Karaulova, a student of Moscow State University, who was detained in Turkey, met with her father, Pavel Karaulov. He said that he was given about three minutes to meet with his daughter, who is being held in the deportation center. It is not known when Varvara Karaulova will be sent to Russia.

“I hope that there will be no deportation, but a return. Already in the coming days: from three to five, ”Karaulov explained.

• Varvara Karaulova, a student of the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University, went missing on May 27. She went to university, and then flew to Istanbul. A few days later, she was detained at the border with Syria. Karaulova's father believes she was recruited to join the Islamic State. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation is conducting an audit regarding the recruitment of Karaulova .
