Residents of Chuvashia, who declared a mass hunger strike in the Vladimir region, decided to stop the protest. According to the ATS-Info , 107 people return home after long negotiations with the participation of federal and regional officials. The protesters promised that their appeals would be transferred to the Kremlin through the administration of the Volga Federal District, and a special reception of the initiative group will be organized in Nizhny Novgorod.

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chuvashia promised to take under special control the investigation of the actions of carriers, who were supposed to deliver residents of the republic to Moscow. Instead of "broken" buses, the Chuvash administration sent another transport for the protesters. At the same time, according to route documents, buses left Cheboksary before buses “broke” in the Vladimir region.

On Saturday morning, residents of Cheboksar announced a hunger strike in the city of Gorokhovets on the way to Moscow. They brought a complaint about illegal resettlement to the presidential administration in connection with new construction. The authorities accuse people of illegally occupied the territory, they are going to demolish houses. At the same time, residents are offered compensation in the amount of 200 to 400 thousand rubles or housing with an area of ​​33 square meters, regardless of the number of family members.

For a trip to Moscow, residents rented two buses. On Friday, they left Cheboksar with a delay of three o’clock. One of the buses unexpectedly “broke”, and I had to urgently look for a replacement. At about 3 a.m., drivers of both buses told passengers that they could not go further because of technical problems. At the same time, drivers admitted that they act under pressure from officials of the city administration.

After that, the trip participants, among whom were children, pensioners and people with disabilities, decided on a hunger strike. They stated that they would starve until they get to Moscow.
