According to Bild, unknown hackers on behalf of Merkel sent emails infected with the virus to the deputies. They were about an invitation to take part in a certain television conference, TASS reports. The Bundestag administration in this regard warned parliamentarians against attempts to read these false messages.
The representative of the XDS/CSS faction did not confirm, but did not refute this information either. It is also not yet reported whether the data from the hard drive of the chancellor computer has been stolen.
As it became known back in mid -May, the hackers tried to get into the internal network of parliament and abduct the data from servers and hard drives. Security services had to temporarily disconnect from the server network.
