The Russian world is breaking into the Russian -speaking world

On June 10, the XVII World Congress of the Russian Press opened in Moscow. The first persons of the state told guests from 63 countries representing over 500 Russian -speaking media, about the difficult international situation and lamented propaganda in the dominance of propaganda

Vladimir Putin limited himself to a welcoming telegram. But the participants were addressed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, the chairman of the State Duma Sergey Naryshkin and the head of the presidential administration Sergey Ivanov. Medvedev reassured (and maybe, on the contrary, he confused) the audience, saying that the revival of the USSR was impossible, thanked the West for sanctions - they gave Russia an incentive for development and a reason for new contacts in Asia, and also called for Russian identity abroad.
Naryshkin asked to use soft force in the confrontation of Russophobic moods. Although the need to interpret the situation with the sanctions, of course, said about the need to incite the need.
Suddenly, the performance of Sergei Ivanov turned out to be meaningful. The head of the AP, of course, also talked about the impossibility of canceling counter -sanctions and the benefits of what was happening for Russian farmers. He promised that our leadership would not build a world Russian -speaking press in one line and demand unanimity. He mighted at the triumph of neo -Nazi sentiments in Europe, but, most importantly, he said: “This is my personal look, but professional analytics are increasingly giving way to propaganda things.” However, it remained incomprehensible what exactly Sergei Borisovich had in mind: whether his machinations of the European neo -Nazis are indignant, whether the Russian opposition media are embarrassed, or is he simply mistakenly with the broadcast of the basketball match to the “News of the Week” and became sincere horror.

Furore called the report of the director of the State Archive of the Russian Federation Sergey Mironenko. The scientist urged the audience to abandon myths and said that the feat of 28 Panfilovs was a successful fiction of one of the employees of the Red Star newspaper (Congress is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory this year). This is not a secret: military prosecutors dealt with history back in 1948, and it became known to the general public in the mid-nineties, after the publication of documents. Nevertheless, many participants were horrified and panic, and the editor -in -chief of the official “Russian newspaper” Vladislav Fronin advised such things simply not to print, so as not to harm the audience and veterans. To which the editor -in -chief of Echo of Moscow, Alexei Venediktov, noticed that “not to print” is already propaganda, not journalism.
But in addition to the inevitable disputes for modern Russia, whether neo -Nazism won in Europe, the current Congress has another important difference from the sixteen previous ones. The World Association of the Russian Press (VARP) was created back in 1999, according to the results of the first such congress to ensure communication between Russian-speaking media in different countries. But since June 2014, a completely new level of instructiveization arose: by the decision of the Government Commission for compatriots, a non-profit organization “Foundation Warp” was created, which, in addition to the noble, “preserving and supporting the Russian language”, “expansion of educational, scientific and cultural exchanges”, etc., ”, etc. - The things are spelled out quite specific: "Providing assistance, including material and technological, Russian foreign means of information." In the founders of FSUE ITAR -TASS, in the sources of financing - “regular and one -time contributions of the founders”, as well as slurred “voluntary donations”.
In fact, the Russian -speaking media hint at the willingness to pay for the broadcast of official Russian propaganda to a foreign audience. And judging by the reaction of many gathered to the neat hints of high -ranking officials, they are tired of vegetation in a hostile environment and are ready for cooperation.
