Five minutes after the final whistle of the main match of the outgoing football season, one could not remember. Or to recall the “battle” of Russia with Austria with the words “there is nothing to say, which was even done by those experts who love to talk very much. The picture was too clear, without half-tones, the next failure completely killed with its obviousness, it remained to wait for an answer to a single question addressed to the leadership of the Russian Football Union and to the chief coach of the Russian national team Fabio Capello as the main defendant: “When?”
The Minister of Sports Vitaly Mutko, now popularly called to save our poor football, managed to fasten in black, praising our team for the best result among the teams occupying the third place in their qualifying groups of Euro 2016. But the Russians here, in the comforting list of applicants for a trip to France, are no longer the best, but among future competitors in butt matches (if the Russian national team reaches them), in addition to Hungary with Albania, Holland and Ukraine are also of Holland. A very tempting prospect, taking into account the fact that the Russian team in its current fantastically disassembled state can lose to anyone.
Mutko, of course, this time could not limit himself to the usual mantra about the “outstanding coach”, who “says everything correctly,” and even hinted that an important discussion would take place within two days (Capello himself at the post-match press conference also announced his readiness to meet with employers), after which some decision could be made. The whole catch, however, is that it is prescribed to Nikita Pavlovich Simonyan, who once again temporarily replacing the position of President of the RFU.
That is, the patriarch of domestic football at the request of the public and the command, writing out Fabio Capello a well -deserved ticket to Rome, should simultaneously take responsibility, including one and a half billion rubles, laid down as a penalty for breaking the contract.
Nikita Pavlovich has already said that, unlike the predecessors of Hus Hiddink and Dick, the current head coach really worked a lot, that the situation should be comprehensively analyzed, and the streamlines of the formulations in this case were quite explained-the bond contract was signed by the ex-president of the RFU Nikolai Tolstoy, Vitaly Vitaly visited, and answer-Simonyan?
The Minister of Sports, it seemed, again hoped that the positive result of a key meeting with Austria, if not everything would write off, then at least delayed the moment of deciding on the resignation, which suggested a year ago, immediately after the completion of the too short Brazilian epic of the Russian team. But then one could still talk about some prospects, and the access to the final part of the weakest qualifying group was generally almost called by anyone. In the course of, however, it became more and more understandable that the street was leading to a “dead end of Capello” that there was nothing to pay the most expensive coach of the national teams in the world, and the collapse of a completely irresponsible project very clearly identified the miracle of the Austrian striker Marco Yanko, which, according to tradition, there was nothing to answer.
The fact that the project is completed, it seems, was understood by everyone - from the Kremlin to the very outskirts.
But this only means that the process of one and a half billion is just beginning. The calls to Fabio Capello resign yourself and without any financial claims, firstly, are naive, and secondly, not at the address-Don Fabio will say that he worked honestly, for eight months at all, without complaining of higher football instances, he does not deal with financial problems, but everything should be according to the law. And formally he is absolutely right, the rest is emotions.
It is even more naive to believe that Vitaly Mutko as the initiator of the invitation of Fabio Capello, his main defender and the main person in the retraining of a contract with an Italian specialist will take fire to himself and bear some responsibility until 2018. Formally, Vitaliy Leontyevich also cannot be complaints - yes, he assisted, but only gave advice and expressed his opinion, nothing more. And, of course, Mutko did not promise to bring one and a half billion apartments in his backpack - the burden is too burdensome. Capello will take, but who will give him?
So it turns out that it should be dismissed immediately, and there is no one to take on an honorary mission, everyone has reasons to go into the shadows. But it is also fraught to believe that by itself, it will be fraught with the previous leadership by itself-and the coach needs to pay salaries (for the third month of the new stage of non-payments), and something radically changed in the Russian team, as well as in our entire closed football economy, too.
... Fabio Capello believes that the current game of the Russian national team reflects the real state of affairs in Russian football, he has no other attackers and defenders, and the ceiling of this team has no access to the final part of the 2014 World Cup. The Russian football community, on the contrary, perceived the main achievement of Don Fabio only as an advance, and considers the current state of the national team a fall, below which has nowhere to fall. Such a difference in the approaches of continuing cooperation categorically does not imply.
To promise that Russia will enter the final part of Euro 2016, it is possible until mid-autumn, when the qualifying campaign will approach the end. To date, Fabio Capello’s national team behind Austria is hopelessly, from Sweden by four points and three is ahead of Montenegro, the technical victory over which was “presented” with a fan and who came to Igor Akinfeev Fayer and a home match with which the qualifying tournament ends for Russians on October 12. A chance to leave the group can directly give a home victory over Sweden in early September, but there are no guarantees, even if the favorable outcome of guest meetings with Moldova and Liechtenstein under a big question.
As we reached the life of this, the question is primarily to the chief coach.
Russia retained a relatively high place in the ranking of the International Football Federation thanks to the successful results of friendly matches - under Capello, the national team did not lose a single “commodity”. As for the official program, here the percentage of scored and lost points is divided approximately equally, and it is much worse than that of Hiddinka and a lawyer. The prospect of being in the fourth and even fifth ten FIFA rating is quite real, and one thing is enough to try to change at least something.
Yes, Capello did not sit still and tried to the best of his strength to save the situation. Yes, the fatal failure in the “opening of the arena” was facilitated by extremely unfavorable circumstances with the loss of the ligament of indispensable central defenders. Yes, he really had a limited field for the maneuver (although the exit to the field of three beginners in the most important match for the team looked either adventure or the desire to grab a straw). But all this, by and large, does not explain anything and does not console anyone. After the inevitable change of the coach, it can be even worse, but “worse” is still different.
Not like now, when fateful defeat responded in the country not anger, but in silence. Which became the final sentence for Fabio Capello.
